“R” actually stands for “Radius” and the number indicate the radius in millimeters if the monitor were to form a circle. The lower the number, the higher curvature is delivered by the monitor, providing an enhanced curvature experience.
For example, the reading of 3000R would mean a curvature radius of 3,000 mm circle or the distance your eyes should be on the screen. A curved monitor with 3000R would offer a more immersive cinematic experience.
