ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) officially announces today that the ROG Master 2016 Philippine qualifiers is now open for registration for DOTA 2 and Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).
The ROG Masters is considered as one of Asia's largest eSports tournament with a total grand prize amounting to USD200,000 for the world championship and Php115,000 for local qualifiers in PH.
All interested gamers and participants all over the coutry can register teams through ROG Masters Philippine qualifiers website http://rog-masters.ph by August 30 to September 9, 2016. Starting September to October 2016, DOTA 2 & CS:GO PH teams will battle in a series of local qualifiers for a spot in ROG Masters grand finals that will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by November 12 to 13, 2016.
Both online and on-ground qualifiers will take place for each games. Every top qualifier teams will advance in a LAN finals which will happen in a premier gaming hub around Metro Manila on either September 17 or September 18, 2016.
The top 2 teams of Philippine qualifiers for both DOTA 2 and CS:GO will get a slot in quarter finals alongside with other Asia qualifiers. Aside from that, other teams who will not qualify from PH qualifiers, can still participate in Southeast Asia (SEA) qualifiers by completing the team registration on the ROG Masters official site which can be veiewed here.
