Netflix has just announced at CES 2016 that it's internet streaming service is now almost available globally, with a count of 130 countries which includes the Philippines in the list! Whoa! We can now watch shows on the US via Netflix like The Arrow, Daredevil, Gotham, etc., though there are some movies and shows not available yet here, hopefully they will release them soon.
Netflix added support for Arabic, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese to the 17 languages it already supports.
You can access Netflix in the Philippines via https://www.netflix.com/ph/ and it have 3 plans available with a minimum monthly subscription plan of Php370 (USD8) for the most basic plan. New users can try for the first 30 days (1 month). Standard Plan price is Php460 (USD10) and the Premium plan is for Php550 (USD12) which offers HD and Ultra HD. The Netflix cofounder and chief executive Reed Hastings said, “Today you are witnessing the birth of a new global Internet TV network.”
