Philippine-based tech manufacturing firm NTEK Systems, Inc. is set to join technology industry giants in the upcoming Global Sources Electronics Show at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. Dubbed as the biggest sourcing show for electronic products and solutions, the event will run from October 11, 2015 until October 14, 2015 and is expected to draw 50,000 buyers from at least 150 represented countries.
Event organizer Global Sources reports that over 3,500 booths from prime electronics industry leaders, including NTEK Systems Inc., will be set up to showcase the latest technology solutions related to home, office, and automotive electronics, as well as smart security, smart lighting, and next-gen components. The expo kicks off Global Sources’ two-phase electronic sourcing show, with the last edition (Mobile Electronics) tabbed at the latter part of the month.
Buoyed by the fact that the Asian electronics industry has significantly shored up over the years, NTEK Systems hopes that its participation at the Hong Kong expo will enable the company to gain a bigger share of the market.
“Global Sources’ fall trade show will afford us a chance to showcase our products to a wider audience in the region,” said NTEK Systems’ global sales manager Ian Gollaba in an apparent recognition of the Asian market’s vitality.
Gollaba’s remark echoes Global Sources Electronics Group President Tommy Wong’s acclaim of the expo’s emergence as a top-ranked stage for electronics showcase and sourcing. The Global Sources events, Wong said in a press release on Nasdaq, “have become the preeminent events for tens of thousands of international buyers looking to source quality products from reliable suppliers across China and Asia."
While key industry players are witnessing growth in the consumer electronics market, Gollaba believes that penetrating the Asian segment can only be made easier with more innovations from local manufacturers like NTEK Systems. “We differentiate ourselves through innovative advances in our products. We are not industry bystanders, but active players set to carve technology trends for global consumption,” he said.
In the Global Sources Electronics Show, Gollaba disclosed that NTEK Systems would be bringing its latest smart security products. The showcase would be bannered by DoorTalk, a SIP-enabled video intercom and access control solution. DoorTalk, said Gollaba, would be complemented by an array of other innovative solutions, like the biometrics-equipped access control system called Smart Entry and an entry-level solution for VoIP-based communication, security systems integration, and home automation control called DoorPad.
“These are the same cutting-edge products that we have previously introduced at global expositions in the United States and Europe,” said Gollaba, referring to NTEK’s participation at the ISC West in Las Vegas, the IFSEC expo in London, and the CommunicAsia exhibition in Singapore. The firm also actively participated in the recently concluded Systems Integration Philippines (SIP) tradeshow in Manila last August.
“We are highly optimistic that our innovative products can also match the demand and sourcing requirements of the leading brand suppliers, retailers, and buyers from the Asian region,” said Gollaba.
“On a tangential note, joining the Global Sources Electronics Show in Hong Kong will cap our year marked with productive and excellent product expositions,” he added.
