Alcatel has just launched the Alcatel Flash 2 earlier here in the Philippines. It is the successor of the Alcatel Flash Plus which is so popular and made a sold out every flash sale. Alcatel Flash 2 is a mid-range smartphone which has a LED flash both at the back and in the front near the cameras. This phone is perfect for selfies even in the dark.

Better camera with LED flash both in the front & back
The camera is one of the improvements of this new phone, the front camera for instance has a bigger sensor which can allow more light, which gives clearer and brighter photo. By the way the rear / back camera has an integrated Samsung ISOCELL sensor, also with the auto-focus feature and dual LED, dual-tone flash. We have tested this earlier and the photos were good even in the low light it can still capture.

Build & Quality
Alcatel Flash 2 looks & feel more premium in construction and overall good than the Flash Plus. It looks pretty sturdy too as well. While this is an initial testing, we cannot assure everything else until we can test this unit for few days or so, the results are based on how we see and experience the phone during the launch.

Apps, Software & UI
As you can see it is an out of the box stock Android Lollipop 5.1, so another good thing about this phone, though it contains additional apps but they are useful apps that you may use, these apps are only few and will not take much space in the storage.

By the way, the phone has a removable back plate but the battery is non-removable but according to Alcatel Philippines, service centers can help replace the battery for you.
As of the announcement earlier, the Alcatel Flash 2 will be available in the Philippines which is first than the other ASEAN countries, it will be on sale on Lazada on September 30 with the very affordable price of Php6,190! Another good budget smartphone from Alcatel huh? :)
