The NX500 utilizes a high end 28.2 MP BSI sensor with back-side illuminated APS-C sensor to produce wider dynamic range and richer gradation. It also has 14 bit RAW image output support to provide loss-less images. It also comes with a DRIMe 5 Imaging Processor that's 2.8 times faster than its predecessor that can provide amazing colors and enhanced image quality to give images to life.

Then the most interesting feature of this camera is the Hybrid Autofocus System which can let you do an on surface phase detection focus with give you 9 FPS continuous shooting. The NX500 also has the Samsung Auto Shot 205 AF Phase detect that can intuitively allow you to take any moment whether it's moving or a split second when you do group jumps precisely at 60 FPS continuous shooting.
