We know that the segment smartphone in the country is a bit too crowded as there's a lot of mobile brands already. However, a new brand is always welcome as they mean tighter competition and more choices that can make the regular consumers like us win in the end. Earlier, I spotted via Instagram a new interesting smartphone brand that officially announced their presence in the country.

Meet Prestigio Smartphones
While we have very little information about this phones, the name Prestigio gives me an impression that the design and product perspective of this mobile company targets a group of people that loves style and elegance. Based on their hashtag, I'm expecting them to really give us a refined mobile experience.

The 3 phones in the photo could be the following, the octa core powered Prestigio MultiPhone 5508 Duo 16 GB, the quad core Prestigio MultiPhone 5550 Duo 8 GB and the Windows Phone powered Prestigio MultiPhone 8500 Duo 8 GB. They are priced at PHP 13,099, 8,499 and 9,099 respectively at Lazada Philippines. They also have an entry level phone called the MultiPhone 3502 Duo 4G priced at just PHP 5,899.
While some might think that the pricing is a bit high for the specs, let's give Prestigio a chance as their handsets might and should be made out of really good materials. Overall, I'm excited about this mobile brand and I hope to see them live in person soon! :)
