The release and announcement of the Active version of the S6 seems to be fast approaching. In a report by earlier, Samsung accidentally posted the specs and details about this upcoming smartphone accidentally on their website.

Fortunately, most were able to grab the specs immediately before Samsung was able put that page down. As expected, the rugged version of S6 will still have the same excellent 5.1 inches Super AMOLED QHD display, will be powered by the top of the line octa core Exynos 7420 processor, will have 3 GB of RAM, 2550 mAh battery capacity, 16 MP rer camera sensor, 5 MP front facing camera, heart rate sensor, 32 GB of non expandable internal storage and Android Lollipop on board. In contrary to our previous reports this version of the S6 will still not have that microSD card slot.

What's interesting here is the main features of the Active it's rugged look where in it has dust, water and shock resistance. It is said that it can submerge into 1.5 meters of water for 30 mins. It will also come with the Activity Zone app that has the likes of a barometer, stopwatch compass, weather information and S health app shortcut.
