SKK just announced the availability of a new uber affordable smartphone with 3G connectivity called the Atom. The SKK Atom has a 3.5 inch WVGA LCD display, 2MP rear camera, VGA front camera, dual SIM, dual standby, GPS, expandable memory up to 32 GB, and 3G.

It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat too and priced at just PHP 1,499 making it the most affordable 3G phone in the country right now. What's missing in the spec sheet is the amount of RAM, battery and the type of processor SKK used here. Hopefully, it uses at least a dual core processor and 512 MB of RAM. However, given this price I won't be surprised if it only has a single core CPU and 256 MB of RAM. Hopefully, that won't be the case.
