Samsung accidentally posted in their website the existence of the Active version of the Galaxy S6. The Galaxy S6 Active is expected to have that toughness and ruggedness of a very durable smartphone. More importantly the great news here is the S6 Active could have that microSD card slot back that was removed with the regular version and edge version of the S6.

It is also said that this handset will have the same very powerful specifications like the first two S6 models and will have a pretty large 3,600 mAh of battery capacity. It will also have the same regular features of an S6 device like the QHD display and heart rate sensor. Being a rugged device, it will probably have that water resistance, shock resistance and scratch resistance.
Given those traits, that handset is clearly made for those who have an active lifestyle, wanted an S6 with an expandable storage and those who want a very durable phone.
Reports are saying that it could be announced sometime this spring or summer of 2015. Official pricing is yet to be confirmed.
