If you're looking for a very affordable smartphone with NFC, this could be it. The top mobile company in the Philippines just announced the Cherry Mobile Axis as a part of their latest plethora of handsets.

Given those specs, it seems to be a good buy for the price. That quad core processor and 1 GB RAM is is a surefire performer for an entry level Android phone and that qHD resolution should be good enough to make the images look great on this screen. Then lastly it has that NFC capability which others don't have for this price. However, it has that one catch this one still runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean, so I wish that Cherry Mobile will upgrade this to at least Kitkat for a smoother overall performance.
