There are new details and rumors about the upcoming Microsoft Lumia 940 circling around the world wide web recently. Microsoft is planning to give this new flagship device with two versions and two screen sizes. The Lumia 940 at 5.2 inches and the Lumia 940 XL at 5.7 inches. That type of setup is also commonly found with other flagship phones such as the iPhone 6 and Huawei P8.

When it comes to the specs part, the said upcoming device is expected to have a rear camera sensor of 24 - 25 MP, 5 MP front facing camera, Iris scanner, native pen support, hexa core or octa core processor and jaw dropping gorgeous display. Personally, I am also expecting this to have at least 3 GB of RAM and a powerful GPU for gaming. It is also widely known that this device will come together with the upcoming Windows 10 OS.
My question now is, will this be the phone and OS combo that can match up well now with the iDevices and Androids? Hopefully yes, because we need a third major player to tighten up the competition even more that will benefit the end users as a result.
