There's a familiar looking smartphone that's making noise in the US today called the Blue Selfie. I said that it is familiar looking as it looks very much the same externally and internally with Cherry Mobile's very own Cherry Mobile Selfie that was released here last December of 2014.
BLU Selfie |
Just like the Cherry Mobile Selfie, the Blue Selfie also comes with a 4.7 inch display with an HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.7 GHz MT6592 processor, has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable internal storage up to 64 GB and 2,300 mAh of battery capacity. It has Android Kitkat on board that's still unknown if it will be upgrade-able to Lollipop or the next Android M.

I believe that they came from the same manufacturer that's why they look very much the same. Fortunately, the local version of that phone is cheaper by several hundreds compared to the version that could be bought via Amazon.
CM Selfie |
The main attraction of the BLU Selfie is its 13MP front-facing camera, one that also comes with an LED flash. On the back, there's another 13MP camera, also paired with an LED flash. In other words, the BLU Selfie should take photos of comparable quality independent of which camera you're using.
What we are sure right now is it is priced at USD 249.99 at Amazon and comes in three colors: Blue, Black and White Gold. That makes it pricier by several hundreds compared to Cherry Mobile's selfie offering.
