It seems like the Ulefone and SKK Lynx came from the same manufacturer. The soon to be released Ulefone Be Pure is very much identical to the local branded SKK Lynx except one thing, the Ulefone Be Pure is already running on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

This could mean that the SKK Lynx is update-able to Lollipop too!
Given that the Lynx just had its first OTA update to fix some bugs, the hope for a Lollipop update gets stronger. An SKK official also hinted us that there could be a Lollpop update very soon. With the discovery of the Ulefone Be Pure, that speculation gets stronger because that phone is powered by Lollipop and it is basically the same with the Lynx. That means that the Lynx is capable of running Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Lastly, it is awesome to find that SKK was able to release this phone first. That only shows how competitive this local brand is. Now I'm wishing that the Lollipop update will be with the SKK Lynx soon too.
