Mati's Meat & Bread is among the dining concepts featured in River Park, along with Market Basket, Chef's Barrel and Asahikawa Bangaichi Ramen. If you're wondering if we have tried them all... all I can say is "of course" (hahaha). [But] first, I wanna share with you our Mati's Meat & Breads experience since it's our favorite (so far) among the mentioned restaurants. Other Rivepark restaurants will be featured soon, as well, so watch out for it. :D
If you're located in the South, the Riverpark is very accessible to you. :) Try these cool restaurants for a change. Aside from the great food that they could offer, the Riverpark itself would add twist to your regular dining experience. I'll tell you why at the latter part of this article.

It was Valentine's day when we visited Mati's Meat & Bread. A Valentine's set menu was offered to their customers that included a selection of appetizers and main dishes. The regular set was priced at Php 999 while the "extra special" set cost Php 1799.

I was so happy that the USDA steak was easy to slice and chew. For people with braces (like me), you won't have a hard time chewing the meat because it's very tender. For me, the taste of the steak would satisfy the tongues of Filipinos as it has a good combination of saltiness and sweetness.

The Restaurant
Mati's Meat & Bread is located at the Riverpark near Festival Mall. The restaurant has a bright space with floor-to-ceiling windows that gives customers a great view of the manmade river and park. At night, the restaurant has a semi fine dining feel, probably because of its slightly dimmed lighting.
