While Marshall has been in the country for quite some time, this is the first time they had an actual launch of some products in the Philippines. Earlier the iconic music brand, launched 4 new products to add to their current line up in the country. They just released the Mode and Mode EQ in ear monitors, the mid sized Acton Bluetooth speaker and the big Marshall Woburn.

Marshall Mode
I will unbox this soon! |
The Marshall Mode is 9mm driver in ear monitor that has been customized by Marshall to give you a full bodied heavy sound that music / rock fans definitely want. It also has a classy looking feel that seems to be durable enough to withstand daily abuse. Priced at PHP 3,150
Marshall Mode EQ
The Mode EQ also have a gold plated and better looking L Jack compared to the regular Mode |
Marshall Mode EQ is basically the same IEM but as the name suggest it has an equalizer feature. It has 3 settings in general, the first option can give you a bass heavier sound that tends to be warmer, the second option gives more a brighter sound that gives more details on the mids and highs. Lastly, the 3rd option is the flat option that can be accessed by not turning the setting into EQ1 and EQ2. This actually reminds me of the old FiiO E6 setup and this is the first in ear monitors I've seen with such settings. Priced at PHP 4,450
Marshall Acton
The very capable Acton |
The Acton is a middle sized speaker with the classic looking Marshall design. The audio output of this speaker from my first try paired with the FiiO X1 sounds phenomenal with very minimal distortion even at max volume. I'm sure that this is loud enough to fill even a large room with great music. It can be connected using an analog 3.5 to 3.5 mm cable and can also be used thru Bluetooth connection. Using the action is also very easy as it just have 3 analog knobs that can give you the tune of your preference. Priced at PHP 15,950
Marshall Woburn
The big loud Woburn |
The Marshall Woburn looks the same with the Acton, but a bigger, louder and more rocking one! It also has more feature compared to the Acton as it has an RCA connection aside from the 3.5 mm jack and and Bluetooth. Priced at PHP 28,500
Overall all the products that Marshall presented today have very satisfactory build and audio quality which deserves some real rocking attention. We'll review the Mode soon and give you our report. Watch out for it! :)
