Asus released the four variants of Asus Zenfone 2 in Taiwan today. The entry-level 5-inch version will retail at around $158, without any subsidies. If you're eyeing the 4GB model with 5.5-inch display and 32GB storage, it will cost you around $285.
The pricing is expected to go higher when Asus starts its global rollout. Meanwhile, here's the complete price list of the four Zenfone 2 variants.
- ZE551ML - 5.5-inch, 1080p display, 4GB RAM, 32GB - 8990 NT$ (US $285)
- ZE551ML - 5.5-inch, 1080p display, 2GB RAM, 32GB – 6990 NT$ (US $221)
- ZE550ML - 5.5-inch, 720p display, 2GB RAM, 16GB – 5990 NT$ (US $190)
- ZE550CL - 5-inch, 720p display, 2GB RAM, 16GB – 4990 NT$ (US $158)
According to sources, Asus is expected to rollout the Zenfone 2 to the following countries:
- March: China, Hong Kong, Singapore, France
- April: India, Italy and Southeast Asia
- June: Brazil
