Oppo R7 might be introduced late this year to be the successor of the Oppo R5. It has been reported that the upcoming handset was recently approved by the telecom authorities in Indonesia as the Oppo R7f.

The rumors are stating that this phone could be one of the first smartphones to have the latest 64 bit octa core processor of MediaTek that is the MT6795 that's clocked at 2.2 GHz. It will also have an LTE connectivity, support for 2K displays and could offer a 20.7 MP rear camera. It is also been said that the Oppo R7 will address some of the major issues of the R5 which is the lack of 3.5 mm audio jack and a not so good battery life.The Oppo R7 might arrive late this year.
Hopefully, most of those rumors are true as this seems to be a very promising device. I'm also sure that Oppo will put in tons of effort to make this phone as good as possible. Then I also wish that they will price this one in a much lower rate. Now only time can tell now if this is going to be a hit.
