In the past several years Mac OS has been the standard of an exciting operating system with a number of features that they mastered and do fluidly. With the release of the new version of Windows, they seems to be doing the right thing and it makes me feel that their latest and greatest release so far is more exciting than the Mac OS. Why? Here are some of my opinions...

| Windows 10 finally getting things right? |
Windows has become a more personal operating system...
Aside from the free upgrade of Windows. Windows 10 users will now get the ever exciting Cortana on desktop, there's now a notification bar on the side and a new Xbox experience with an improved overall usability.
The security has been improved too...
Microsoft is saying right now that they now have the best security among all the other major operating systems. It has been the problem that plagued them in their previous releases. It's nice to see that they're now taking security more seriously now. On a personal note, the security of Windows might have been boosted to a maximum level, but I'm still doubting if they can do better now than other Unix based OS.
Gaming gaming gaming...
Windows is the king of PC gaming and that's a fact! While Mac OS is playing some catch up with them, there's now denying that Windows is still the better PC gaming OS. It has been revamped now as the integration with the XBox is better and there are now more game apps in the App Market.

Universal apps...
It runs on all windows devices, whether it is your Windows phone, Windows tablet or your Windows PC. There's also a new version of Microsoft Office that let you present your presentation / document / excel right on your phone or tablet. There's an updated outlook experience that works on all email clients, there's a new and advance browser called the Project Spartan.

I'm sure Apple is planning for a huge counter attack soon...
This one is pretty obvious, both companies are trying to outdo each other. I'm sure that with the release of the next Mac, they might do things better than the way Windows did, but for now I'm seeing it as a very hard task to do.
Now my personal answer if Mac OS did suddenly become boring is NO. It is still a very exciting Operating System. Windows 10 just had a lot of upgrades and new innovation that makes them more appealing now.
