Can you imagine yourself flying on a windowless airplane and be able to see the clouds and the nice scenery in the sky? This is what one company plans to achieve in the next 10 years.
This was envisioned by a U.K-based cutting edge technology association called the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI). For the next generation aircrafts, the company aims to conserve fuel while providing customers a different plane ride experience!
According to Matthew Herbert, the marketing manager of CPI,
The lower operational cost (as claimed by the company) will therefore reduce airfare costs, in return. This futuristic concept for travel provides customers a 360-view using cameras integrated into the plane's exterior that will capture scenery and will be able to project that on the interior walls and ceiling.
That is not limited to that. Any scene could be displayed on the interior. Would you like to view a rainforest? What about the ocean? Name it!

According to Matthew Herbert, the marketing manager of CPI,
"Removing the windows will significantly reduce the weight of the aircraft, saving fuel and therefore reducing operational costs. The windows will be replaced by high quality flexible OLED displays that are connected to digital cameras integrated into the exterior of the plane."
