Just last week, we told you about the Vivo X5 Max, the handset who is set to steal the "World's Thinnest Smartphone" crown from Oppo R5. Now, the company is planning to officially launch the handset in December. A teaser was released by Vivo, however it did not reveal much information about the handset. The teaser image only indicated the device name and the thin heart strings parallel to the side of the phone. More or less, it's giving the consumers an idea that the device is gonna be ridiculously thin! That's pretty interesting.
The handset will measure 4.75 mm thin, thus being a tad thinner than the Oppo R5, which measures 4.85mm. It is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, 1.7 GHz octa-core processor, LTE, 2 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
It's also one of the RARE HIFI smartphones!
The Vivo X5 Max is also boasting a high fidelity playback on its audio output. So I'm speculating here that this smartphone would be capable of playing lossless tracks 192KHz / 24 bit playback. If that is true, there will be no need for those audiophiles to on the go to get a dedicated hifi player.
