If you're planning to purchase a 12-inch tablet, right now you don't have really much options but the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 or the Microsoft's Surface Pro 3. Last Friday, Sony Mobile communications announces that they will launch a 12-inch tablet in Q1 of 2015.
According to sources, Sony's 12-inch tablet will have high-end specs and will come with a dedicated stylus. It will target markets with greater demands for graphic-related applications. The company did not reveal much information about its specs but since it's a Sony device, we are expecting a very thin and water resistant body.
Aside from Sony, it has been rumored that other companies are planning to launch extra-large tablets early next year. One of these companies is Apple, who is developing a 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
