Apple announces that its latest desktop operating system, OS X Yosemite, is now available for download from the Mac App Store for FREE. The new OS features a more colorful and elegant design that looks a lot more like iOS than the traditional OS X. According to Apple, with the new OS, "your Mac, iPhone and iPad will work together in amazing new ways. It's like getting a whole new Mac - for free". Seems pretty exciting! What should we expect from the OS Yosemite?
One notable feature of the OS X Yosemite is the ability of your Mac, iPhone and iPad to work together. You can start your activity on your mac and finish it on your phone (or even vice cersa). Users may now also make and receive calls on your Mac. To make a call, just dial a number listed in your Contacts, Calendar, Messages, Spotlight or Safari.
Airdrop is now also possible between your Mac and iOS device, even when you don't have internet connection.
