I know every Motorola user is curious whether their current device will receive an Android Lollipop update. Well, here's a great news for you. Motorola launches an "Update Guide" page (on their website) for users who would like to verify if the model of their device is included in the list.
For step 1, you would have to select where you purchased your device. Then it will ask for the model. The website will indicate whether it will remain on the current OS or if it will get upgraded. To go to the quick update guide, head over to the source link below.
The company also posted the current models that will surely have an Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The list includes the Moto X (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G (1st and 2nd Gen), Droid Ultra Droid Maxx, Droid Mini, Moto G with 4G LTE and Moto E.
We're expecting another handset to be part of the list - that is the Motorola Droid Turbo, the newest flagship device of the company. The handset will run on pre-installed Android 4.4.4 KitKat, but we're expecting that a quick Lollipop upgrade will come. Maybe we'll have to wait a little more for further announcements from the company.
