LG Electronics announced today that they will begin to roll out globally their newest Android wearable, the LG G Watch R. The smartwatch debuted at the IFA 2014 event that was held in Berlin. It is the first smartwatch and wearable to sport a fully circular P-OLED (Plastic OLED) display.
LG G Watch is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and it runs on Android Wear operating system. It also features 512 MB of RAM, 4GB internal memory and 410 mAh battery capacity. It is available in black color.
It is expected to be available for purchase this early November in Europe including Italy, Spain, France and UK, followed by North America, Asia, and Commonwealth of Independent States. Customers can purchase this wearable via Google Play.
The LG G Watch R will retail in Europe and US at around €299 and $299, respectively. Local availability and pricing has not been revealed yet.
