Last February, Blackberry revealed the Blackberry Classic (previously known as the Q20) alongside Blackberry Z3. The Z3 has been made available in the market already last May while the Blackberry Classic was initially expected to launch in November, but apparently, this won't happen. Blackberry announces that the Blackberry Classic (Q20) is set to launch this coming December.

The announcement was made by John Chen, Blackberry CEO at the MIT Enterprise Forum in Hongkong. He said, "BES 12 will be released on November 13, while the Blackberry Classic will arrive one month later". Check out the 1:05:54 mark of the video below.
The Blackberry Classic sports the classic BB design with 3.5-inch touch screen display and a QWERTY keyboard below it. Rumors suggested that it will feature a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera and 2515 mAh battery capacity. The company however did not reveal the handset's pricing details.
