It was just last month (September 2014) when Apple held an event where it debuted its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, along with the preview of the Apple Watch. This October, the company is set to hold an event again for the new iPads. According to sources, the iPad event is slated for October 16th but previous reports suggested that it will be on October 21st. Let's just wait for further announcements regarding the final date.
What to expect on the iPad Event 2014?
Last year, Apple debuted the iPad Air, the iPad Mini with Retina display and the revamped Mac Pro. This year, Apple is expected to showcase the new version of iPad Air, the Mac hardware (possibly iMacs with Retina display?) and OS X Yosemite. According to rumors, the updated version of iPad Air will be lighter and thinner. The new iPad is also rumored to have a larger 12.9 inch display.
