OnePlus recently announced their answer to the budget in ear monitors competition with the introduction of their Silver Bullet In Ear Monitors. It is said to be a balanced sounding and durable IEM that's elegantly designed in an aluminum shell.
The silver bullet |
One of the main features of Silver Bullet by OnePlus is it's designed to work for android devices and have that 3 button in line controls with microphone for calls.
The breakdown |
It is also stated in OnePlus website that the Silver Bullet is created for music lovers, which should give highly demanding audiophiles with a fluid to decent highs, mids and low frequencies. Aside from the cables used in this IEM is one of my favorites, the TPE cable (Thermoplastic elastomers) which can provide less tangle, really soft when worn over-ear, plus added durability and protection.

What we don't know right now is if this can match or surpass one of the best sounding budget in ear monitors right now called Xiaomi Pistons 2.0! Given the success and quality for the price OnePlus have had with their smartphone model. I have high hopes with this good looking in ear monitors that resembles the body of VSonic GR99, one of the most comfortable in ear monitor I've had in the past.
Then if all my speculations are correct, this will be a surefire hit for the regular consumers and the budget seeking portable audiophiles. Hopefully, this will arrive in the Philippines soon! :) I'll be waiting! :)
