Planning to go on a food trip this weekend? Thinking of fancy restaurants or mainstream food house? Why not try the super FUN weekend market in QC, for a change! It's easy to locate because it's just beside the Smart Araneta Coliseum!
Since it's a food expo, you have a wide variety of food options. It's also a good outdoor place to chill and hangout with your friends. There are tables and chairs where you can stay but you have to come early because it can only accommodate limited guests.
Getting excited? So, let's start the food trip. :))
STREET FOOD, VIANDS AND OTHERS
The typical Pinoy street foods: Kwek-kwek, tokneneng, calamares, fried dumplings.....
...plus balot and footlong!
If you want pasta, there's baked mac and carbonara.
IHAW-IHAW (Grill)
If you want inihaw (grilled), you have a lot of options:
Squid, Chicken, BBQ, Isaw, Tenga, etc.
BAGNET
The BEST bagnet I've ever tasted so far! There's FREE TASTE, so TRY IT!!
I know this is NOT so healthy BUT one order won't hurt. It's very mouthwatering and so crispy. I keep wanting more. (putok batok hahaha)
SWEETS
A meal is not complete without the desserts. There are booths selling cupcakes...
... and the all-time favorite cheesecakes!!! <3
FOOD BOOTHS
A sneak peak of the food booths...
PERFORMERS
Well, I can say that this band is so good! (I fell in love with them instantly) Everyone stopped when they played a Southborder song. Too bad, i was not able to get their band name.
Just wondering if the lead singer is an ex-southborder vocalist? Not sure though. Whoever you are, I am a fan! <3
LIQUOR BOOTHS
To complete the Flavors food expo experience, grab a bottle (or two) of beer while listening to the band. The San Miguel booth is available for those who want to order liquors! Just remember, drink moderately. :) Enjoyyyyyy!
Here's a picture of me :)) I'm so full and my tummy is so happy! Had a great time. I'll come back here, for sure! ;)
