The Philippines experienced a Facebook downtime or simply users can't access their Facebook via web or mobile. The website is displaying website error: "Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can." or the site is either unresponsive or network errors are displaying.
Other services by Facebook - Instagram & Slingshot are still working during the downtime yet there is no explanation from Facebook yet on what had happened.
During the downtime, a lot of Facebook users switched to Twitter and make a trending hashtag namely #FacebookDown. See some embedded posts of different internet people's reaction during the downtime:
