{ Cucumber and Tomato Salad }
Ingredients
- Lettuce (Choice of Iceberg or Romaine)
- 2 pieces of English Cucumbers (grocery-packed)
- 4-6 pieces of Cherry Tomatoes
- Half to a whole pouch of 220ml Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- Apples (red/green)
- Croutons or Oishi’s Breadpan
After washing the vegetables:
1. (For better presentation) Peel a thin portion of the cucumbers vertically until the end. Make 2-4 peels. Then slice the cucumber in uniform sizes.
2. Cube the tomatoes. Make sure its not too big nor too small. Bite-sized.
3. Cut the lettuce.
4. In a bowl, place the lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Pour 2 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the mayonnaise. Mix it until all the ingredients are properly blended.
For additional ingredients:
Cube the apples then add. Toss the croutons.

- 1 pack of Potato Marbles
- 1 large or 2 pieces of small Carrots
- 2 pieces of English Cucumbers (grocery-packed)
Essential Waitrose (Italian Dressing) or Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Oil or Lady’s Choice Mayo Lite
Steps
After washing the vegetables:
1. Cook the potato marbles 10-15 mins.
2. Cook the carrots for 5-10 mins. Tip: (during the 10th minute boiling of potato marbles, add the carrots). Please See step 4.
3. Strain the potato marbles and carrots. To preserve its bright color, let it cool on a bowl with ice.
4. While cooking, you may prepare the cucumber. (For better presentation) Peel a thin portion of the cucumber vertically until the end. Make 2 peels. Then slice the cucumber in uniform sizes.
5. Put the potato marbles, carrots and cucumbers in a bowl. Best served with one of the suggested dressings below or any house-hold brand of choice:

- 1 can of Tuna in Oil Flakes
- 1 cup of Kettle Corn
- 1 small to medium-sized Carrot
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Pepper
Steps
After washing the vegetables:
1. Cut the lettuce, set aside the lettuce in the bowl.
2. Add the Tuna together its oil.
3. Add the corn.
4. Slice the carrot in thin strips. Toss it in the bowl.
5. Salt and pepper to taste.
Ingredients
- 2 Green Mangoes
- 1 small Pineapple
- 1-2 Chili (Choice of Chili, but Labuyo will do)
- ½ bottle of Plain Vinegar (Natural Vinegar tastes more delicious and sour)
- ¼ bottle of Soy Sauce
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Pepper
Steps
1. Peel the mangoes, then slice it into cubes.
2. Peel the pineapple, then slice it to bite size chunks.
3. Mix the mangoes and pineapple in a bowl then pour the vinegar, and soy sauce.
4. Add in salt and pepper.
5. Chop and add the chili.
6. Mix the salad.
