Google has released a very immersive virtual reality software called the Google Earth VR that's available first on the HTC Vive.
Imagine to fly and tour around Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, go to the Great Wall of China, fly over cities or stand over a mountain, the experience will be very engaging and immersive.
The Google Earth VR is available through Steam, it let users to explore, visit and fly to various locations around the world using the Google Earth data and 3D models and it provides a 360-degree immersive view. According to Google:
As of now, it's only available to use via HTC Vive only, hopefully soon they will release it to VR-capable or Daydream ready devices such as the Pixel, Pixel XL and other smartphones so anyone can try and access it.
