Smart Philippines has also announced (also announced by Globe) that it will offer free seven (7) days Pokemon GO data access when the game lands here in the Philippines.
The said Pokemon GO free data access is available to its Smart and TNT subscribers using Android and iPhone smartphones. The Pokemon GO is said to consume about 20MB data per hour of use according to Android Central. Let's say you will play about 2 hours a day for about seven days in a week, the data usage would translate to 1GB data per month. Well this is a great promo to start the excitement again to PH's wannabe Pokemon Trainers.
Now we just hope that the game will finally be released here in the country anytime soon as we really really wanna catch them all.
Update: The Pokemon GO is now released in ASEAN regions including the Philippines. Smart is now offering the free 7 days data access promo from August 6 to August 12 with no registration require. Take note that additional data charges will apply for Pokemon Go app download and registration.
