Unboxing and Accessories
When it comes to the packaging and accessories, the Ekopack Slim 4000 comes with the standard micro usb cable, warranty card, user guide and stickers. Gone are the multi charging ports present with the Ekopack 3000. I would have liked it better if they included a USB adapter to charge the device.
Build Quality
Probably one of the thinnest powerbanks I've seen to date! It's noticeably lighter than most 4000 mAh powerbanks and so slim that can easily fit in your pocket together with the phone you are charging. The build quality has that classic ekotek sturdy feel! It has that very classy and durable looking rubber matte finish. Ekopack Slim 4000 doesn't feel as dense as the Ekopack 9600, but I'm quite sure that this one can hold its own when it comes to occasional drops and scratches. It also has an LED power indicator that shows the current charge of the Ekopack. When it comes to the battery used here Ekotek is using a high quality Lithium polymer cells that can definitely last for a long time.

Based on the mantra of Ekotek, this one delivers true specs to performance results! I may not have the right equipment to test it thoroughly, but this one can last a little bit more than 2 charges on my 1800 mAh phone. It can also power my portable wifi dongle for a little bit more than 4 hours. The charging time of my phone also feels just right given its 1A power output. Overall, this a high quality true 4000 mAh capacity powerbank that has enough juice to give your devices additional boost to last longer.
At first you may think that this device was priced a little higher, but with Ekopack Slim 4000 you still getting the right price to specs ratio if you are looking for a very portable, super slim and lightweight powerbank.

Right now this is my current favorite everyday powerbank due to the above mentioned strong points. I really liked its very slim form factor, classy look and decent juice. It's quick to charge and not heavy compared to my other higher capacity powerbanks. So I would definitely recommend this to casual users that don't want to carry to much weight or bulk in their everyday lives. For heavy users, you may want to check out the Ekopack 9600 or the Mi 10400 powerbank.
