After months of leaks and rumors, Apple unveils their newest tablet, the iPad Air 2. At 6.1 mm thinness, the tablet is now the world's thinnest tablet. It's 18% percent thinner than its predecessor.
"Can you even see it?" Tim Cook, Apple CEO, joked as he showed off this ew tablet.
What's new with iPad Air 2?
The iPad Air 2 features Apple's new A8X 64-bit CPU paired with an M8 motion co-processor, providing 40% faster CPU performance for applications. Apple also boasted the graphic performance of this chip. I bet that games will perform well on the Air 2, we'll see. :)
As expected, the iPad Air 2 comes with Touch ID fingerprint scanner (a feature that first debuted on iPhone 5s) and iOS 8.1 operating system (obviously).
The tablet also includes 8MP iSight Camera that features panorama, burst mode, tap to focus, photo geotagging and timer mode.
